Variable plunger pump for machinery

The plunger pump is an important device of the Hydraulic System. It relies on the reciprocating movement of the plunger in the cylinder to change the volume of the sealed working chamber to achieve oil absorption and pressure. The plunger pump has the advantages of high rated pressure, compact structure, high efficiency and convenient flow adjustment.

The Vane Pump is a pump in which the vanes in the rotor groove are in contact with the pump casing (stator ring), and the sucked liquid is pressed from the oil inlet side to the oil discharge side.

Common faults

1. The output flow of Hydraulic Pump is insufficient or does not output oil
(1) Insufficient suction. (2) Excessive leakage. (3) Tilt angle is too small, pump displacement is small, which needs to adjust variable piston, increase tilt angle.

The output pressure of the pump is determined by the load and is approximately proportional to the input torque. There are two types of faults for abnormal output pressure.
(1) Output pressure too low

The leakage of plunger pump is mainly caused by the following reasons:
(1) The main shaft oil seal is damaged or the shaft is defective or scratched;
(2) If the internal leakage is too large, the pressure at the oil seal will increase, and the oil seal will be damaged or flushed out;
(3) The oil drain pipe is too thin and too long, causing oil leakage at the seal;
(4) The external oil pipe of the pump is loose, the pipe joint is damaged, and the sealing gasket is aged or cracked;
(5) The bolt of variable adjustment mechanism is loose and the seal is damaged;

(6) Cast iron pump case with sand hole or poor welding
